Dan McHugh, Assistant Project Manager, LEED Accredited Professional

Dan is a Virginia born and raised son of the Commonwealth. A carpenter by trade, he received his formal training in Art and Art History in the Great Valley of Virginia at James Madison University. After a six year sojourn in the Deep South, part of which he spent teaching at the Rural Studio, Dan has returned to Charlottesville and is enjoying working in the team atmosphere at Abrahamse & Company. A lifelong student of Architecture, Design and Construction, Dan is excited to be working on projects that are beautiful, complex and always evolving. With a background in sustainable design and construction Dan says, “It is exciting to work with a company that places a real value on sustainability and green building.” Dan is an Auburn University Rural Studio Outreach Fellow and a LEED Accredited Professional.
