Project Manager
John was born in Mexico City to a State Department family. When not stationed overseas, he called Falls Church, Virginia, home. He has a B.S. in Political Science and Business Administration from James Madison University.
John’s previous experience in the construction field is an asset to Abrahamse & Company. From 2008, John has owned and operated his own company, Green Turn LLC, a Class A Virginia contracting firm that focuses on residential and light commercial work. Before starting Green Turn LLC, John was Executive VP of Sales at Smitty’s Building Supply where he managed a team and generated a sizeable revenue for the company.
John and his wife Kathryn live in Belmont where they are renovating their home. John and Kathryn are the proud parents of three adult children and are grandparents as well. When he’s not on the job or spending time with family, John volunteers with International Neighbors and the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program.
